Bryan Smith, a graduate of Kansas State University with a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering, will step into his new role as General Manager of CRC beginning July 1. He will set the vision and direction for future growth. Bryan has been with CRC for the past six months as the National Sales Director, focusing on sales growth and familiarizing himself with our operations. Prior to joining CRC, Bryan worked for 15 years at Titan Trailer Mfg. in Waterville, KS. Beginning his career as a design engineer, he spent the last 13 years as production manager where he was involved with customer service and all aspects of daily manufacturing management.

At Bradbury, Moundridge, Kansas, we have created a Research and Development group within the engineering department that consists of Dave Sheehan, Terry January, and Greg Smith. This group has over 70 years of experience at the company and we are excited for the opportunity to work on new concepts as well as advancing existing concepts.
The Bradbury Group is pleased to announce Greg Smith has been promoted to Vice President Engineering, Research and Development. Employed by Bradbury since 1994, Greg previously held the position of Senior Manager – Engineering for the past 15 years. In his new role Greg will take on additional responsibilities for Research and Development with a newly established R&D team and be responsible for setting the global engineering direction for The Bradbury Group. He also continues to have responsibility for his existing departments including engineering, customer service and equipment testing.
The Bradbury Group is pleased to announce Jerry Graber has been promoted to Vice President Manufacturing. Jerry has been employed by Bradbury since 1981, serving as Senior Manager Manufacturing for the past 18 years. He has been instrumental in growing our manufacturing operations and his team leadership and led initiatives including implementing a continuous improvement process and inventory reduction via the use of Kanban as well as implementation of Theory of Constraints, 5S and Lean Manufacturing. In his new role Jerry will be continue to be responsible for all manufacturing operations at our group headquarters and take on the additional responsibility for global manufacturing alignment to help us achieve and maximize use of our global manufacturing footprint and combined global purchasing relationships.
The Bradbury Group is pleased to announce the promotion of Ryan Durst to Vice President Sales and Marketing. Ryan has been employed by Bradbury for the past 20 years, serving as Senior Manager of Sales and Marketing since 2001. In his new role Ryan will be responsible for setting the strategic direction of our global sales and marketing as well as working with group general management to align all group companies to a common mission.
The Bradbury Group is pleased to announce Justin Graber has been promoted to Customer Service Manager at Bradbury, Moundridge, Kansas. Justin has been with the company since 2003 and has been working in customer service since 2009. Previous to his new role, he has served as a Test Technician, a Field Service Completion Coordinator, and most recently as the Assistant Customer Service Manager working under Don Kaufman who retired after 40 years. Justin has played a key role in expanding the department.
The Bradbury Group is pleased to announce Matthew Moody has been promoted to General Manager of Bradbury International UK Ltd. He previously worked in a sales role and has had the assistant General Manager role for the past two years. Matthew has led the UK team with great success and has played an integral part in the international success of our Group of companies in his region.
The Bradbury Group customer service capabilities expand by adding two support technicians in Latin America. Mario Cabrera is based out of Monterrey, Mexico and has over 30 years of mechanical, electrical, PLC, drives, and hydraulic experience on Bradbury equipment. Mario is available to work on all Bradbury Group equipment and has full access to Bradbury original equipment specifications.
Alejandro Hernandez is also based out of Monterrey, Mexico and has 24 years of industry experience with 15 of those working with Bradbury equipment. He has a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering.
Justin Graber, Customer Service Manager, states, "Mexico and Latin America have been emerging areas for The Bradbury Group in the past number of years. Our goal is to provide service close to our customers and the demands of their production. By placing two support technicians in Monterrey, we now have the ability to rapidly respond to the needs of our customers."
Brock Miesner, Controls Technician for Beck Automation, LLC, received a silver medal at the 43rd WorldSkills Competition in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Miesner, the only SkillsUSA WorldTeam member to medal in the competition, represented the United States in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning. The 43rd biennial competition was held August 11 – 16, 2015, with approximately 1200 contestants from around the world.
