Effective Rollforming Maintenance is Crucial for Continuous Operation

Maintenance is essential for the efficient operation of any machine, and roll formers are no exception. At Bradbury, we offer a range of opportunities for you and your team to stay informed and up to date on the maintenance of your machines. Our goal is to help you maximize the performance and longevity of your roll former.

Maintenance Roll formerEach Bradbury roll former will come with a detailed manual that outlines the necessary maintenance procedures for optimal performance. Following this manual schedule is important to ensure the longevity and efficiency of your roll former machine. Proper maintenance not only helps prevent unexpected breakdowns but also enhances the overall productivity of your operations.

Along with following the manual maintenance schedule, perform regular lubrication tasks, inspect tooling, and align critical components. Regardless of whether you are running high production machines or low production machines, it is essential to regularly lubricate and inspect them to ensure smooth operations.

Make sure the roll former stays clean through regular wipe downs. Accumulated dirt, metal dust, and paint dust can build up and affect the efficiency of your machine and pose safety risks to your employees. It is important to prioritize this step to maintain maximum performance and safety standards in your operations. At Bradbury we also provide an instructional course that offers a full day of technical roll tooling training for your employees. Ron Dies, Bradbury's Technical Training Director & Preventative Maintenance expert, with his 20 years of direct experience with Bradbury equipment, has assembled a team to lead your employees in training. Ron and his team will guide and instruct your employees on equipment installation, maintenance, line operation, and more. Ron_ClassroomWe encourage participation from seasoned operators, new operators, maintenance technicians, quality control inspectors, safety coordinators, and anyone involved in the process. This training experience will be beneficial to everyone involved.

The one-day course consists of five to six hours of classroom instruction and two to three hours of hands-on training. While the course can be held at Bradbury, we recommend having the training at your facility. This allows our instructors to work directly with your employees on the machines they operate and address any questions or concerns they may have.

At The Bradbury Group, we take a proactive approach to engineering and manufacturing top-quality equipment. We are dedicated to supporting your investment with exceptional service and ensuring that your equipment maintains peak performance. By adhering to the maintenance guidelines, you can address any potential issues before they escalate, ultimately saving time and money in the long run. It is a proactive approach that can significantly benefit your business and equipment investment.
