Bradbury Hosts Annual Charity Golf Tournament to Support Local Fire Departments

Despite the heavy rains Kansas has seen lately, The Bradbury Group hosted its annual charity golf tournament on Friday, May 30th, bringing together employees, retirees, and vendors to support our local fire departments.

Fortunately, the weather cooperated, with sunny skies and warm temperatures greeting over 100 golfers who played 18 holes at the Hesston Golf Course. In addition to those on the course, many volunteers pitched in behind the scenes to help ensure everything ran smoothly.

This annual event is more than just a round of golf; it's an opportunity to connect with others and give back. This year, Bradbury made donations to nine different local fire departments. The fire departments included were Moundridge, Marion, Hesston, Inman, Goessel, Halstead, Canton, Galva, and Hillsboro. Thank you to the brave men and women who serve our communities. Pictured below are the fire departments after receiving their checks.

The 2025 tournament featured 26 teams, assembled based on player handicaps to ensure a fun and competitive day. With a few helpful rule changes in play, we saw some impressive scores. Congratulations to the winning team, Jamie Schultz, Brad Epp, Jeremy McCurdy, and Dave Schrag, who came in with a score of 51.

Each golfer contributed a donation at the door, and we were fortunate to have incredible sponsor support. A special thank-you to our title sponsors: Agilix, Hyspeco, Evolution Motion Solutions, CapTrust, Central Plains Steel, All Metal Recycling, Ryerson, Finn Kool, Mid Kansas Winding, Capital Project Consulting Plus, Parker, AGH, Midwest Single Source, IMA, Reflection Travel, Precision Industries Incorporated, IBT Industrial Solutions, Fastenal, Rensenhouse, Hartsgrove Machine, Sheffer, Chapel Steel, Linmark Machine Products, Thorp Controls, Titan Conveyors, LR International, Power Motion Industrial Automation Solutions, Stanion Wholesale Electric, and Commerce Bank.

We’re also incredibly grateful to the many other sponsors who donated and helped us raise more money for the fire departments. Additionally, at holes 9 and 17, teams could make a $20 donation for the chance to move closer to the green, a fun and effective way to raise more funds while improving everyone’s game.

This year's tournament was another success, and we’re proud to have raised funds for our local fire departments. Thank you again to all of our sponsors, donors, volunteers, and the team at Hesston Golf Course for helping make this event possible. We look forward to seeing everyone again next year!
