We are thrilled to introduce Heather Iddings as the newest member of our Technical Sales team at Alliance Machine & Engraving. Heather will be responsible for sales in the composite, rigid plastic, and coated fabric markets.
Heather brings over 12 years of sales experience to Alliance. Her career highlights include serving as a Buyer, National Sales Director, and National Account Manager for companies within the flooring industry, and most recently as a Technical Sales Engineer for an engraving equipment manufacturer.
Heather said she was happy to join our team after recognizing our capabilities and unwavering commitment to customer service. She appreciates that Alliance’s commitment to their customers does not end upon shipment of the product. Their follow-through with Customer Service after the sale is just how they do business. In her previous roles, Heather gained valuable insight into production processes, learning the intricacies of product creation, from pattern design to the specifications of the fabric web.
Heather is particularly excited about her new role because it goes beyond simply selling products. She believes in understanding the specific needs of customers and asking the right questions to deliver tailored solutions. "Each product is unique, and it requires knowing your customers' needs to deliver on their requests," Heather commented. At the end of February, Heather will be attending the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) International Builders’ Show (IBS) in Las Vegas where she will connect with our customer base. She is eager to put some miles in and walk the show floor to meet customers at their booths. Prior to the show, she will reach out to customers to set up meetings, lunches, and dinners.
Outside of work, Heather enjoys spending time with her husband and two kids. She loves reading and has lived in Virginia for over 30 years. Her eldest child recently graduated from Virginia Tech, and her husband is a business owner. They also have two dogs that complete their family.
